About us
RCFlorida.org is dedicated to being a central information point for similar radio controlled hobbyists searching for locations of clubs and events happening in Florida.
Originally created to provide a web site for Suncoast Scale Model Boat Club, Bay Area Blitzkrieg, and Lew's Model Boats (and More) - our "Core" group, we are opening up to other groups interested in being listed here (free). We hope to add advertising to this site as well.
As this site grows, we anticipate adding more information.
Our objective is straight forward: to simply define clubs and events for those unaware of such groups of other with the same hobby in Florida. By using a central point for those in Florida using a site synonymous with "Radio Control Florida" clubs, groups, and organizations,
Although we are focused primarily on scale model boats and tanks (armor), and other vehicles, we invite others within this realm to submit contact information and a brief statement on what your particular hobby is and the area served. This will aid other in search of being a part of the RC scale model community.
