About
After creating some buildings (farmhouse and barn, walls, etc.) to be used as an allied command (U.S.) headquarters, various detail items needed to be added. This included figures as well as supplies. Why not an automobile for the general. No 1/16 scale model cars could be found. However, there are metal model vehicles in 1/18 scale, not too far out of scale to match the other vehicles and surrounding diorama.
 A Maisto coupe (early 1940's era) was repainted and marked as the General's car (1/18 scale) as seen in the photos below.
